George Hnatkiwskyj

DIRECTOR/VET

George started Badgers Oak Vets in 1993. Well known in the local community he can often be found playing badminton, kayaking, mountain biking, or skiing - not bad with two bionic knees.

Charley Gray

VET

Charley has been working at Badgers Oak since 2009. She enjoys all aspects of mixed practice with particular focus on small animal nutrition and diet formulation. Outside of work she has a small holding, 6 cats, 7 dogs and is frequently found as lead singer of a local band.

Henry Fryzer

VET

Henry joined Badgers Oak Vets in 2019 before spending 3 years at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London. He has since rejoined the practice at the start of 2026. He has a black lab called Alma and enjoys running, cycling and speciality coffee.

Tom Philpot

VET

Tom has worked with us since 2023. He particularly likes small animal medicine. In his spare time he walks his spaniel called Rolo, and likes to play squash.

Mia Andell

VET

Mia graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2024 and joined us in August 2025. Outside of work, Mia enjoys running and competes in curling competitions.

Millie Davies

VET

Millie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2025 and joined the practice after spending lots of time here as a student. In her spare time she enjoys countryside walks with her Schnauzers Sibyl & Arthur, and is currently learning how to sew.

Jordan Harries

VET

Jordan graduated from the University of Edinburgh and enjoys all aspects of mixed practice but in particular farm health planning and internal medicine. In her spare time she looks after her flock of Kerryhill sheep, and labrador Copper.

Sarah O'Reilly

VET

After working as a farm vet for 6 years Sarah joined us in 2022. She enjoys all aspects of mixed animal practice and now heads up our large animal services, in addition to keeping busy on her own farm after work.

Stef started at Badgers in 2002 and works part-time. Away from work she has her own flock of Coloured Ryeland Sheep that she enjoys showing with her two children.

Rhiannon enjoys long walks with her rescue dog and loves spending time outdoors. She is a big fan of live music and enjoys going to concerts and music events whenever she can.

Clair has recently returned to veterinary nursing after twenty years and is thoroughly enjoying working in mixed practice again ‘where no day is the same’.

Candy is celebrating her 19th year working in the admin team and enjoys crafting in her spare time.

Sam has been here at Badgers since 2014. She has a spaniel called Arlo who keeps her on her toes. She is also a local pool champion, and a strong pub-quizzer.
